The “Mont des Cats” is brewed by the Abbey Notre-Dame de Scourmont for the Abbey of Mont des Cats, a Cistercian abbey of Trappist tradition founded in 1826 . This abbey is located just behind the French border with West Flanders. She is thus the first “French” Trappist although brewed in Belgium in Chimay
